Needless to say our last event at The Telegraph was a huge success. Even Boris Johnson needed to stop by to see what all the fuss was about. But just to cement our place as the leader in the London Startup networking scene, and to thank all of you for supporting us and making the magic happen non-stop, we are proud to announce the Startup Weekend Winter Party.

Held at the über-hip studios of Designers Block in Shoreditch, the evening will be the party of the year for those in the London Startup scene. In addition to being the ulimate mingling opportunity for London’s talent, we also have lined up an array of Londons top djays to make sure we are all on the dance floor until the wee hours of the morning.

Festivities will start early with an exclusive invite-only networking drinks affair for Startup Weekend winners of 2012 and other VIP guests. Then at 9pm doors will open for those able to buy a ticket before the sell out. Please note that here at Startup Weekend we are continuously seeking ways to support women In tech and have therefore reserved half of our spots for female entrepreneurs. Also, tickets will go on sale at 10:00am Tuesday November 27th. Our events sell out quite quickly, so be sure you are at the keyboards that morning!

We also proud to announce Palantir will be partnering with us. Palantir build software that allows organizations to make sense of massive amounts of disparate data. Their services are particularly relevant for this edition which offers many oportunities for those interested in utilizing large amounts of information.

Currently we are short-listing our panel of judges and mentors, but can already confirm four prestigious experts in the world of tech: Edward Roussel Executive Editor of Digital at The Telegraph Media Group and Matt Simpson Head of Strategy & Operations at Google EMEA will be heading the jury while Kam Star Founder of Digital Shoredtich and Philipp Moerhing Principal at SeedCamp will be availble for mentoring.

And if that weren’t enough awesome-ness, Startup Weekend is also providing a free workshop on Big Data given by import.io and Entrepreneurs First. Import.io are the experts on how to use data best to your advantage and will be explaining how easy it is to incorporate their API into your web service or application. This pre-event is also an opportunity to get a head start on networking, including meeting the team from Entrepreneurs First who have for objective to select top talent from across the nation and help them launch tech companies with huge growth potential. EF is for young men and women with the ambition and ability to build something big, bad, and bold. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet them!

Lastly, this same evening we will be holding a pitch-training session to help you sharpen your presentation skills. This will make all the difference in terms of maximizing the potential of the weekend to come and is just another reason why you can’t miss it!

The function will take place Friday November 2 from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at Google Campus and is reserved exclusively for all attendees of Startup Weekend @ The Telegraph.
