Startup Weekend is back! Join us at the Telegraph’s office in Nov 9-10-11.

Startup Weekend and Silicon Valley comes to the UK are teaming up to bring the craziness of the 54-hour long events simultaneously in London, Manchester , Sheffield, Southampton and Cambridge this coming November. Those events will bring developers, designers, marketers, product managers and startup enthusiasts to come together to share ideas, form teams, build products, and launch startups!

They will be using UK government data sets from, and the Open Knowledge Foundation to build startups. Participants will use this data to produce high impact applications/websites and unlock the power of public data to “rewrite the rules of the new economy”

After the weekend startups will be able to participate to another great contest, in which the winner of each event will be invited to attend an exclusive awards ceremony in London a couple of days after the event and will also get the chance to fight in the Global Startup Battle taking place between the 130 Startup Weekend events during GEW.
